Create writing can play an important role in maintaining good mental health Hammond House writers groups benefit from the resources available on this site and live workshops by published authors and other professionals that develop the talents of experienced writers and encourage the participation of people who are new to writing. Established groups from anywhere in the country can now join and new group formed with our help and support. We also welcome associate groups from around the world.

Joining a writer's group gives you the opportunity to make new friends, exchange ideas and get feedback on your work from others who share your passion. Developing your ability to communicate ideas in an effective and interesting way offers many social and professional advantages.

How

Submit your work by email, attached in a word document. Maximum 2000 words. 

Include a short synopsis if it is part of a longer story, for context.

Ask for any particular aspects you would like feedback on. eg structure
